Frequently asked questions
We believe it’s important for you to understand how we work. That’s why we’ve gathered some information about how PriceSpy operates here.
Incorrect prices are usually due to the fact that we receive the wrong information from the shop, or that the shop has recently changed its price and we haven't had time to update it yet.
Our system tries to correct such errors automatically, but sometimes an incorrect price may appear for a short time.
If you see a price that is not correct, please report it via the "Report error" button on the product page and we will investigate it!
There can be several reasons why a retail price is missing for a product. Common reasons are:
We help you find information about shops and products, but all purchases are made directly through the shops.
For questions about purchases please contact the shop where you are planning or already made your purchase.
Unfortunately, we at PriceSpy do not always list spare parts, as it is very difficult to make an accurate price comparison on these.
Unfortunately, we cannot recommend which spare part you need as we do not sell products ourselves and do not have the expertise to point you in the right direction. The best thing to do is to contact the retailer you bought the product from or contact a retailer that sells that type of product to get help from their experts.
As PriceSpy is not a store and no purchases are made through us, we have no information about delivery times or delivery services. To find this information you will need to contact the store that the purchase was made through, you should have received a receipt sent to your email where you can see the name of the store, if you are unsure which store you purchased from.
If you can supply a regularly updated "Product Feed" with your prices, please contact us and we can get your shop listed.
To ensure a high level of quality and trust, we require all listed shops to follow certain guidelines.
General requirements
All shops and marketplaces that want to be listed on PriceSpy must:
It’s hard to know if a product’s price is truly good value. Does the price usually drop during sales periods? Our price history provides a clear view of how prices have changed over time. It includes all price changes, both up and down, for all store prices linked to products on PriceSpy.
The main graph in the price history shows the market’s lowest price, but you can also see how prices have developed in individual stores. By checking the price history, you can determine whether a sale offer is as good as it seems – helping you make better decisions.
Price history is based only on brand-new items, not second-hand products, regardless of condition.
