Really enjoy the watch. Had for about a month now and very accurate in tracking pulse even at high 180+ readings. Features are great with steps, calories, sleep tracking and weekly summaries for all.
The Tom Tom app for Android is not very user friendly but plug it into a pc and the data and summaries it pulls from the watch are fantastic.
Only reason not a 10 is the app and music loading onto watch doesn't appear quite as easy as just dragging some mp3s across. Appears to need a m3u Playlist file, these can be created using other software and relatively easy to import after that.
Haven't tried any other sports watches but very pleased with purchase.
I enduro drivers and train versatile. I saw more and more friends have different activity bracelet or löparklockor and create myself a need to have an advanced activity-bracelet. I came to a couple of important features for me: I'll wear it 24-7, built-in heart rate monitor, waterproof, GPS function, reasonable price, and good battery life. All this Spark and that it also has 3GB of music is yet another bonus. Now I can leave the cell phone at home when I drive mountain bike or running.
It is clear that the more features you want in a gadget, the more compromise will be. I have read the previous firmware is a little wacky, but now it works flawlessly with v1.2.0
A couple of minor minus: it can not measure heart rate when swimming, the heart rate monitor needs time to "turn in itself" to the correct value, you can not create your own activities, you can not set how long step right you have.
But it is just fine for me
Agree with henrikd86 review but I had to leave my TBX because of rash around the ankle of the bracelet.
I'm not entirely impressed with my purchase. Does not feel like the software is fully developed.
Edit: After FW update, it has become better. The backlight works flawlessly now.
Edit2: Starting become more and more satisfied with the watch. Try to walk at least 10,000 steps each day. Standing up half your day on the job. Starting to feel less "pluffsig" as the muscles in your back and legs get some work. Sheep get started with indoor cycling now that you do not need cadence sensor longer :)
- Wish support had existed for Apple Health. - (Maybe)
- Nice if it was possible to see announcements on the clock from the phone.
- Could revealed some more information on sleep. Sony shows how many hours were deep sleep, light sleep etc. Spark displays only the total. - (Will come)
+ Size and weight. Sits well on the wrist without getting in the way.
+ Tested To track my bike ride home from work. Pocket fine map etc.
+ Have showered with it and survived.
+ Have not tested it in direct sunlight, but find that the display can easily be seen outdoors.
+ Battery life is good!
