Great lasting battery. Various watch faces available. Waterproof! Not bulky. I use it for cycling and have hr, cadence, & power connected. Syncs with various apps. Only shortcoming is hr requires a strap.
You need an app to get any pleasure from this.
Unfortunately, the app must be out, among other things:
Photo Media Files
So if you are thinking of buying a watch because you do not like to share all available information with random Application providers, this is not a watch for you.
The pedometer is probably a joke. The think that I have gone 40steg before I got out of bed in the morning and expect healthy as I write this.
Could not resist the price CDON had on Christmas discount sales so had become a spontanköp. Nice with matrialvalet in plastic and silicone, in the days I used it, I have not noticed my nickel allergy at all. Have tried a smart watch from LG that I got rashes direct, one becomes a little limited at times.
Thought fill with impressions after using the watch for a while but figured now tell about some solutions to things that floundered for me in the beginning and required some searching to solve:
- After downloading the app, Garmin Connect to my Samsung S7 I received only a blank screen when I clicked on create an account or log in. Prima worked on my work phone (iPhone), but not at Sam The Kid, was close to return it before I found that it would update the Android system Webview on the phone. After that, it worked immediately.
- The other problem I encountered was that every time I tried to look downloaded was that I had to update the software on my watch, even though I knew it was updated. This was solved by connecting the watch to a computer, deleting the XML file and then disconnect the clock. This creates a new XML file automatically, then it works.
Will return in a month with other impressions.
Having had my garmin in pea-half years now, and for me it was steps and sleep measurement I should use it.
When it comes to steps then stops suddenly completely up (have not read the other with that problem, so might just be me) and I try to restart it and synchronize it with no luck. He starts counting again when the clock will find it out.
Sleep monitor is very little reliable, he adds together the night even if you've been awake long, sometimes it starts to measure the night after you've been awake, for example at 3, even if you leave you 11. I have small children that are much awake, and I thought I could use the clock to see how frequently and for how long.
The positive is that you can select different clock fronts, you can select various trainings and download additional "apps" to watch. App on your phone is OK, could have been a little better. Spiesielt on this sleep watching time one is awake, not just start and end time .. there was Fitbit much better.
Very good GPS watch. I have used my every day for a whole year (1 January 2016-6 January 2017) and it still works just as good as when I got it. The bracelet was in the beginning a bit worn because of an accident, but that is all. The glass is still clear and fine as in the beginning. I have not tried the golf-sim feature or function or any of the indoor features, but from what I've tested, it has been very good! Has eg gone the same route several times with results that differ in only a few dozen meters (provided the GPS signal has had time to be retrieved before I started). I also like the very long battery time! When I'm not using Bluetooth, or GPS has it kept 4-5 days without charging, since last summer, when I was wandering, and I had a GPS running about 8 hours per day and I just needed to download the 1 time 3 days (for it I used a power bank, which also was enough to recharge mobiles ago!).
Some features I have not tested as thoroughly as I would have liked, for example, step-function (have not measured my own steps) and to have the phone connected to the clock for long periods. Very worth anyway if you want to "record" their walks, or bike sprinturer rounds!
