Garmin Forerunner 10 is a simple clock with GPS capability. It is handy to the arm and it works just fine.
Have now used it 4 times since purchase.
The watch provides information on distance walked, how much time elapsed, average duration per km, record marks if they are new and calories burned.
The watch is very easy to use. Use Garmin Connect, connection to the internet, you can see where to run and also allow a virtual personal conduct training.
The map also shows altitudes.
Forerunner 10 is an enjoyable experience. Just smallness makes it does not feel uncomfortable on your arm.
Battery life is between 4 and 5 hours. My watch passed 4 hours and 45 minutes before the test. When I received the alarm "Low Battery" operated clock in 37 minutes before it finally died.
The downside with the watch is that it can take time upon activation of a workout with finding GPS location. Up to 5 minutes it has taken before the position found, even stay out in the open.
I got a great price on the watch and for the price I'm not complaining. A very good price for this watch and a fun "toy".
The rating is based on the price I paid (under 700 dollars) and how the clock works.
Had positioning worked a little faster clock had got full marks!
I've used it once so take the review with a grain of salt.
Very smooth and surprisingly thin compared to other GPS watches.
Easy to use but plenty of "bloatware", that is to me quite unnecessary features while having no other for me important functions (eg, heart rate).
Questionable battery life. 5h is a bit small but it is certainly the product's target audience. You do not run a marathon with it but one mil or two works of course excellent.
Really crappy screen. They could well have added 10kr on the price of raising the screen quality.
The bottom line:
A budget-GPS watch. It is noticeable that betting on nybörjar-/instegs-segmentet and therefore attracts many functions instead of a few reputable. It has also minimized the cost of the product, which means that the quality had to give way a little, while it is still a Garmin product so there's nothing to display.
