Rating: Barely approved. Am using Samsung's Clear View Cover (CVC) for over a year now but the plastic cracked and had to buy new and then it became this LED.
The shell is built over the CVC and the phone feels a bit clumsy at the same time it feels like it protects the phone a little better. However, open "the door" quite so simple as there is any magnetic in it.
"LED function" in the shell is more than gimmick than a useful feature. You can see who is calling, but only the telephone number that is not the name. You can assign contacts one of those pre-programmed icons but then you have to remember who got the icon. One can also see the time and message notification. No additional applications are required for it to work, it was just pressing the phone and it was going, easier it gets.
A little OT
I was "forced" to buy this shell on Elgiganten for the 500-patch which it is not worth it to me. Should I buy a new skin today I'd buy CVC since it is more useful, and the phone is slimmer. S7 Edge is in my opinion a really stylish phone, and is there a finer function so you can all peel away anyway, and when I drive only phone there is no "fancy" cover for this phone.
Have you 350kr (you can get it today) is over and you have something against CVC shell, this is an option, it should be a little nerdy technology to estimate the LED function, I believe.
The LED display is remarkable :) and results in a wow effect.
Pure performance and quality is the "so-so".
+ The information displayed is the time, incoming calls (which you can answer or reject by dragging across the display), missed calls.
+ The shell run as I understood the NFC. Can not say that it affects battery life. But I have just spent a couple of days.
+ You can customize the display a bit: You can assign contacts special icons that you can choose from around 20 different preset.
+ A good thing is that it does not require any additional updates. There are already built.
- No matter how you twist and turn it: It is sad that the name does not appear ... In actual practice, we still open the shell to see who is calling.
+ Mobile is how stable anywhere in the holder.
+ The shell is thin and very slim. Builds a bit on the mobile.
+/- OK quality, not more.
- Missing a magnetic clasp which makes it opened easily. This makes me wonder how well it actually protects if such drop mobile.
- Quick pocket holds barely a credit card ...
I know this: This was an awesome feature, but I would like to have full functionality with caller ID and not just a pixelated image on several selected contacts ...
If something years it has been driven NFC shell that can do this and then this cover to be a parenthesis ... :)
