It's a single handset land-line phone. It does that OK but not splendidly. It is much harder to put on the cradle than my other Panasonic DECT handsets. When on the cradle it serves as a display for the answerphone but you can't interact with it on there because it isn't secure (and doesn't work even if you support it manually).
For a "premium" phone it feels cheap. The buttons are a nasty, flat membrane. The ui has 2 soft buttons (rather than 3 like my others). The coloud display washes outmuch more in sunlight than the older mono displays.
My other DECT handsets could be registered to this base but they don't seem to be able to share their phone numbers and they aren't visible to cell phones (and cell phones aren't visible to the DECT phones).
The android app is unimpressive. It permanently hogs a spot on the notification bar and a category of its own on the notifications page above all the other notifications (some of which I actually care about). Dialling is done to the sound of full volume DTMF tones.
Since installing it I have had intermittently had trouble with others being unable to hear me (as if I'm muted - but I don't appear to be). This hasn't reoccurred since I uninstalled the app.
