Fifa 18 is released on 29 September- follow the launch on PriceSpy
Fifa 18 have introduced some exciting new improvements to in-game graphics, as well as
to the game engine used for Fifa 18. Last year's Fifa 17 introduced the Frostbite engine with a huge boost in image quality, and the new game refines everything even further.
In addition, Fifa 18 has a new system for dribbling which is improved thanks to the "motion capture" technology. It’s now easier to do more advanced dribbling. The friction on the ground has been strengthened which means better control for the player.
Fifa 18 also gives a continuation (season two) of The Journey, the story mode in Fifa 17. In the first season, you played Alex Hunter and followed his journey to star status. In the new season, you start where the first game ended, now with the opportunity to give Alex new clothes and hairstyles along the way.
The game is released in three versions, the Standard version, the Ronaldo Edition and the Icon Edition, on Nintendo Switch, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstation 3 and Playstation 4. You can also play on newer consoles like the Xbox One S, the Xbox One X as well as the Playstation 4 Pro.
Noteworthy is that not all game consoles have access to all the new features in Fifa 18. For those who get the game to play on the Nintendo Switch, the Xbox 360 or the Playstation 3, some graphics will be missing since the graphics engine hasn’t been upgraded as on other consoles. These consoles also do not have access to The Journey in the standard version of the game.
You can pre-book the game to your favourite platform already today, or why not put an alert on PriceSpy, and you will receive a message when the game is available in the shop.
