Took my Bebop 2 up to Trolltunga, Norway and fared splendidly! Keeps its position despite strong cross winds and available apps is incredibly good! Difficult to maneuver on the screen of the cell phone because no feedback, but easily solved with a Bluetooth gamepad gamer. First tested a iPega control that went not relax against Freeflight on iOS. Buy a control that also has a mounting for mobile! Free Flight 3 and Bebop Pro works great! Someone once Freeflight 3 lost touch, but has only connected the back and could land yourself then. Bebop Pro is perfect when you need it to follow you or focus on an object: Follow me, Track me, Watch me and Watch it. In one mode, both monitors and circulates it around you while you move! See examples here: https://youtu.be/-wueI48YR_s + Easy Flown, stable, wind resistant. Release levers and stop and hover on the spot! + Small enough to fit in a semi-hard 13 "laptop case. + Fast battery charging. + Stable image, no shaking / vibrations. + GPS overlay saved and can be entered. + Can be flown with Mad Catz i.C.T.R.L game controller with Bluetooth (switched on the cell phone) + Bigger, stronger, faster, better battery, reliable wifi & LED in the rear compared to Bebop first + Alerts with sound when the battery level reaches 50% (not tested much lower) - The scope of mobile phones will be about 50m on the open meadow with buildings all around. - Photos of JPG is a screenshot of the 1080p video. Become like that. Raw photo will be better but require Photoshop to correct fisheye. - 14 Mpix is set for the whole fisheye perspective, the software then pan in order to give the chosen field of view of 16: 9. - Only internal memory, low power when transmitting via wifi but perfectly ok to do when the battery is empty to dare to fly. = Strongly recommended if you want a compact, stable and smart drones for filming! -> Recommended to supplement with a network repeater / range extender powered by 12V power adapter and replace the AC adapter with an optional 12v battery. Built up a 3 cell 2000mAh battery airsoft in a Netgear WN2000 rpt from Amazon Marketplace and this has given 300m floating video feed and good control.
