Exactly the same hardware as Wilfa HUE-6B:
Had to send back the humidifier because it spared no settings as it should do according to the manufacturer.
Got a new then and it was equal to + that it does not shut off when the humidity was achieved.
Then got the money back.
A lot of money for poor product.
Very quiet which is important. Good that you can direct humidification in two different directions. Great investment for the money. Any loud noise when you press the buttons, which feels a little B. But otherwise the top and fungerer properly.
Have done some tests and compared to other ionizers at home. Ionization barely works over 10 sqm radius.
It moisturizes well, but not as the spec says. It handles around 30sqm. Correction, I see that the manufacturer has lowered its spec from 50sqm to 25kvm, I was then a little over optimistic with my assessment, but not too far away anyway. I feel cheated. What is the manufacturers who do not know what they're made!
It's incredibly cumbersome to cleaning and filling the container with water and container. It literally flow of water when lifting up the container (although indicated that it is "empty"). After some use it starts gum pack to drop from the container. Warning! There's no rope parts to order from the manufacturer.
It "works", but would not recommend this place for over 30sqm or for those who have children. Can tell you why I think so ..
Consider a location almost in the middle of the room and about the same height as you have chest for best results. But it is very well run near the wall, but be sure to have the type vinyl flooring where it stands. And fiber cloths to remove dirt that committed against properties (ionization).
I really went at it there with adjustable nozzle. However, so steams the sometimes rather almost straight up which in my case means that the steam setting off for the wallpaper at that stage.
Thus, not rec. if you have children around considering placement. It does not work as if it is not central.
Hygro-tuning is only near the machine, thus completely useless.
Finally, I want to say it LOUD beeping has really started to get on my nerves. It will beep to it's end with water, but you can avoid. But it is absolutely not avoid it beeps when you bring up the container several times while I pour the water. If the time is after 8 and the kids are asleep, this is not much fun, nor in the morning when I get up at 5:30 so I can replace it without waking the wife and kids. Real dilemma when it is out of water around those times. And I turn off the so drop it all settings. For each setting, or change you make, you MUST have the pipe. It so so poorly done. As a shutoff means to me that I can not get going on until all family members are awake. And it turns off automatically when the water is out, you need one of us to get up and turn it off completely or else it stands and howls until someone cares about it.
I emailed the manufacturer about how to go about removing the sound. But the answers evasively to questions and you can not make sense of them all.
When I called the manufacturer to ask so I was met by a series of strange questions before I came to when they HAD to have the first five digits of the serial number to accept my call (it was a pain when it sits on the bottom of the machine and it was running). When it was finished so I had to sit and listen to the sick poor music that crackled, disappeared and sounded very bad phone. After about 7 minutes torture, I chose to put on and write about this review so others might know how to do this on the Topcom products. They really have no sense of how to respond to customers, or pace and tone. In addition, a right disposed product. Not entirely surprised after all I now discovered.
Whatever you do, do not buy this for its multi-functionality. I recommend you to buy ionization and humidifier separately. What I should have done from the beginning.
PS. Incidentally, it is said that Epicurus below.
Update: Now it has fallen apart. It began simply be emptied of water and it spilled all over the office where it stood. I turned to the web shop where I bought it and they were kind enough to credit me the amount so I did one for this kind of machine. Thumbs up for the web shop!
+ Moisturize well, does its job
+ Built deionizer
+ Stylish Design
- Do not remember the settings, but must be configured every time you turn it on
- Very strong beep with each button press (Begs the whole house)
- Timer function does not allow to turn on or off at certain times, but just to turn off after a certain number of hours
- The display remains very strong and need to be covered if you want to use it in the bedroom
- Alerts and sounds like a fire alarm when the water runs out (Not fun in the middle of the night!)
