Well not as picky with colors o shit like others here. Does the screen is really nice, one to provide enough and run verticalt next to each other. Good stand!
A finessrik and stylish display that unfortunately falls because of some of the low contrast, too much light bleed (right side exhibits yellowish tendency both top and bottom) and unevenness in color reproduction.
The colors in the standard position, I feel somewhat oversaturated, especially the red and green. Switches to sRGB lose the "pressure" in the picture, probably because of the low contrast. Moreover, it appears a color shift between left (greenish) and right (reddish) visible especially at the gray background.
All this would have been acceptable if the screen had a lower price and not marketed as a professional monitor with accurate color reproduction as arguments.
Bought this as a larger replacement for my otherwise excellent Asus VE248.
Without being an expert is UP2716D undoubtedly the best monitor I had / seen. A quiet, well-calibrated - almost paper-like image with natural colors. I use at work "predecessor" U2711 which certainly is also good, but in comparison, a blocky, slightly crystalline surface compared to UP2716D. And more screaming "TN-equal" colors.
It is awfully thin (thin edges), pretty and stylish're not wrong. A piece of furniture in the home environment that is not ashamed of themselves.
A small minus for an "injury" in the surround around the panel is a bit bent outward at the top, forming a small gap. Star goes away on it.
In sum - again, without being an expert - the best monitor I had / seen.
