QHD - Really good resolution - making so that you can really work well with the two windows open, a FullHD screen is too low res
IPS - good black level, quality, angles
Had problems with the on-screen buttons but Dell Support sent out the new screen within 1 day.
No speakers or 3.5mm audio out
Have two next to each other and they are very pleasant. Got them when I built my development / gaming computer.
Have two pieces of these next to each other. They work really well, reads and encodes most of them and it's really nice to have a little higher resolution and IPS as the text gets better.
Sitting now in two minds whether I should procure me a 3rd ....
Troubled good image quality for a great price, with minimal backlight bleed on my ex. Unfortunately, it is not fabrikskaliberad but for a good price then it is okay. Highly recommended for those who want to take the step from 1080p to 1440p.
This Dell monitor was my second attempt to acquire new screen and fy Satan what pleased I am! Really love at first sight! To go from a minimum of five years old TN panel to a brand new WQHD-dissolved AH-IPS panels were like day and night. Wonderful color reproduction and even if there is no enthusiast screen for games, I'm still sick pleased with the gaming experience. Clear and nice colors, fast and flexible. Covers all my needs!
On the minus side, sits the built-in USB hub very odd I must say. Impossible to access the terminals without pulling up the screen and start rooting. How did Dell there? Had it not been for the remarkable investment had screen received ratings "perfect".
Have had the same screen now many years (Samsung S22A300B) which is getting on in years, with increasing backlight bleed above all. Recently bought an ASUS VG248QE and thought, "Now I afford myself a good screen when I actually started to play more." Do not know what happened but the screen behaved crap hitch and all the games I started lagged. Tested connection through all the signaling system but the same display regardless of cable type.
