A screen I am overall very pleased with.
Has two dead pixels, but the resolution means that I have trouble finding them, even though I know where they are.
The sound is ok on very low volume, even if you play background music at low volume so it becomes tinny or distorted sometimes.
To change the brightness is well into a sub menu, it's the setting I use most often absolute.
Otherwise, it's nothing I can complain about, the stand is the best I've had, good with enough inputs and the screen that is most comfortable to work on, I have used.
Thrilled, play various games and also do a lot of work during long sessions. Natural colors and unexpectedly good blacks. Highly recommended!
Stylish design but gets too much light transmission from the left side of the screen.
A loose power HDMI port makes it even better
In addition, a well-built screen
Since Ttrasselkalle summarizes everything you need to know about this screen, I summarize just with my impressions:
+ Excellent blacks. The main reason I switched from IPS was due IPS glow (and backlight bleed) and I feel no such thing here.
+ Good response to my application. One can conjure ghosting without major problems, but in everyday use it is not something you notice. No distortion of the colors in rapid movements, either.
= OK viewing angles, but with no visible färgförvrägning the top and bottom when sitting in front of the screen. Nothing bothers me, but might be good to consider if you work with things that require a perfectly uniform image.
- The color reproduction is slightly pink - white was easy to adjust without distorting colors (increase contrast 50-52), but shades of gray still showing a slightly pink tinge. I do not have access to color calibration tools, so it is difficult to fix for me, with the choices that are available via the OSD menu.
Super satisfied with the display, though! Almost the same pixel density as my old Dell U2412M, so I kept one of the portraits located on the side and things are basically the same scale when moving windows between screens.
Sitting with an LG 34UM95 next to this monster.
BenQ has really succeeded with this screen, it is incredible value for what you get.
Compared with my LG 34UM95 in 21: 9 format, so is 3200PT: an equally sharp for much cheaper money.
+ The resolution without a doubt! Sitting man I about 90 cm from the screen, the Text, etc. absolutely perfect. LG: n bordering on too small, it has 3440x1440 dpi.
+ Perfect for my X-Plane, then my GTX980 is already on the verge of melting. Higher resolution had never worked. X-Plane is outrageously demanding if you want to experience the realism and detail.
+ Build quality
+ Features and Settings
- Requires calibration
Actually nothing more negative to say so far. Will return if I think of something!
It should be mentioned that I calibrated the screen with my X-Rite ColorMunki Display and the difference was really noticeable. Are you working with image processing such as I do, so calibration is a must in my world.
