Really pleased. Good image quality, no weird scan lines as part seems to have with this monitor? Believe me, I've really been looking for the wrong! I'm running a Gigabyte GTX 1070 and an i5 4690K overclocked to 4.3GHz. However, I feel that I have any. will replace the stand where I want to be able to bring down the screen, lower the desktop. G-Sync delivers great float! Regarding backlight bleeding, so there's that, but if you look at adjusting the brightness at reasonable levels, it's barely noticeable. Just to shop!
Stunning screen, was lucky with both Backlight Bleed and dead pixels. Sure, the IPS panel, it has little BLB but it is quite ok. Operates with a 1070 GTX which is perhaps just a bit too bad. Should I be able to drive ultra high FPS and you will probably be a 1080
No, this is not a dream screen you dying to. It has its USP is with 3440x1440px and överklockningsbar to 100hz. But this is an unfinished product in its infancy. The panel is simply too poor quality. Suffering from too much backlight bleeding. But what bothers me most is the scan line problem that both Asus and Acer are suffering, it is like a screen filter over the image that is very störigt. I've now bought and surrendered both this and X34 grade. I recommend having ice in your stomach if you really want an ultra wide screen with 1440p and 100hz and wait until they have matured, upcoming Acer X34P seems promising.
I do not know if it was my copy, but I got a lot of pain in my head when I drove my screen in 100Hz, the picture seemed vibrant. I lowered to 90Hz became more "smooth". May well add that scan line problem decreases when lowering hz: one but it feels very counterproductive when buying screen to run fast screen refresh rate, you might as well buy a 60Hz screen.
The reason I give this rating and not full pot is for my screen suffers from so-called backlight bleeding and I do not consider it to be able to appear on a display of over 10 000 ... Otherwise delivers the screen really good! I have had time to test World of Warcraft a lot and there is the sjävlklara choice, absolutely incredible experience. The more rapid breaking games I have been able to test the most demanding low response time and uppdateringfrekvevens etc., which is Counter Strike Global Offensive. In this game will clearly be a big difference between my second BenQ 144hz TN panel. Then, the game has no direct support for image format 21: 9, so it is also a problem. Many games not stöjder this image format. But I think it is not a problem since there are workarounds and it will in the near future when the need is growing! I have had the 1440p IPS panels before and this is in a class all to yourself! Overclocking was no problem to 100Hz, Gsync supplies, IPS provides fine lifelike color / black. Unless my copy had problems with screen blb had received 10 Stars!
Really good screen. Got a good specimens without dead pixels and very little backlight bleed. 100 Hz was no problem.
Would give the screen a 10 if it were not for the high price that makes me pull of a star.
NOTE - It will obviously be a difference in quality depending on the dates of manufacture. The early models had major problems (including the problem described by Thomasnexa below to half the screen flashes). My copy is made in April 2016 and has no such problems.
Update 4 months later - Works perfectly and would never switch back to a normal screen. In retrospect, I can say it was worth every penny. New grade 10/10.
