Affordable and great screen with G-Sync, which is a must for me. Superbra image, beautiful float with 144hz and 1ms response time. However, keep your eyes open when AOC G2460PG sold in an A and a B version. B version lacks some features, such as the built-in sight of the screen, which is quite ugly of them not to mark it clearly. Check carefully on the packaging before you buy it!
Had really lucky and got my order 3000kr on NetOnNet.
+ 144 Hz
+ G sync
+ 1 ms response time
+ Full HD (so no monster PC required to operate the game in the 144 fps)
- TN panel
- Fucking cumbersome to get the correct brightness and contrast. Cancer Strong brightness of the screen. I run it on 20/100 in brightness to not be blind.
- Worse viewing angles than my 10 years old computer monitor. (in game so Markar, however, not by those poor viewing angles.)
- Is just a display port and no VGA, DVI or HDMI. sick.
Pure gaming screen. However, so do the other stuff with the screen too and then the TN panel annoying. If the screen had the IPS panel as it had been 10/10 but now the TN so it will be 8/10.
Gaming The screen is superb for just gaming. I recommend instead to buy a gaming monitor with IPS panel instead so as not to interfere on the viewing angles when doing things other than gaming.
Good for the purpose, ie games. Otherwise, poor contrast and uneven illumination. A pixel is half dead. With black background can clearly see that the center and some of the edges are brighter. Moreover, poor viewing angles. I have the monitor directly to the face becomes the top slightly darker. Must angle the screen slightly to get it evenly. None of these negative aspects noticed, however, when you play.
Summary. Good as additional display for gaming, however, would never put up with only this.
Bought in 2990 and is among the best purchases I have made, 144hz + gsync makes the games floats on the fantastic soft and fine without tearing. Not perfect feet but plastic enough stable for it not to be shaking around.
Only problem I had with it is a few pixels that are stuck, but it is not been a problem to fix.
Works well in most cases. Big difference from my previous 60 hz: ers. Would not look back!
A dead pixel :(
