+ IPS panel
+ 100% sRGB gamut
+100 Hz overclock that works without any hazzle
+ very little backlight bleed
+ very little layer when used for gaming
-price a bit steep
-terrible menu system
- Should have one additional display port input
-speakers not good, wish they would drop them to make it lighter and cheaper.
Grim screen if there is no problem with mass.
Only two of the five buttons worked on my copy, so I could open and close the OSD menu and go back, then I had a bright pixel near the center of the screen. Luckily I was able to return the screen to Elgiganten.
As "keffosteffo" writes Acer properly disposed pixel policy, so my advice is to try the screen and check for pixel errors, is there any pixel error as return on open purchase and buy it in another business.
But as I said, you get a screen that is flawless as it is really cruel. Desired, however, that it was even more bent so I will wait for the Predator X34P or the like that have a narrower radius (1900R 3800R instead of the X34A have).
It is certainly a great screen but thought pulling a bit of the bad with this screen and Acer. Acer has been among the worst pixel warranties on the market. There I became aware when I bought this online on Black Friday. Once I got it home it would have a pixel error, a constantly lit pixel. I think it's the disaster that 2016 will be the pixel error on a screen, especially when it costs almost 13tkr, I remember that I was wrong on someone early (read 2004) LCD screen. Since then I have never had anything wrong on a screen. Asus PG348Q using exactly the same panel that it has 12 months warranty for 0 pixel errors. But Acer applying some old ISO standard, and on a screen of this size, you can have up to 16! Pixel fault before it goes on the warranty. It is, I think, completely useless! I left my back and hope it will turn up a good offer in the future again. So I can recommend to anyone who is hungry for this screen to buy it in the store and ask to try it before you buy it.
Can only follow the worship of this screen.
Firmly believed that I already had a good screen, but this tops what I've seen before.
+ IPS 100hz
+ G-sync, ok I understand the hype.
+ 21: 9 format is comical when it supported (eg with Crome plugin to Youtube fills the 21: 9 material.
- / + Sure, the menu system is not the best on the market, but it is not impossible to understand and navigate, and you're not there very often.
- Do not display error, but there are some that do not support the format. For example. little störigt to get black bars above and on the sides of the C-More & Viaplay's online services.
I have two of these to my two gaming computers and I can not but agree with previous Rapporteurs.
Grim screen in all respects;
- Quality feel
- The properties
- The image quality
I had before S34E790C which is also one curved 34 "screen, but compared to the X34, so the price difference justified.
The only thing I can think of to whine on, is that so many others have done - Menu System!
Because it is such a small part of the whole, one can certainly be lenient but it is one of the worst menu system I've ever experienced.
I recommend this course the screen!
