Nice review. The Surface reviews here are always a tad strange because they get such praise yet the entire review is written like they only got a 7/10 instead of a 9/10. Still, pretty good, well-written, unbiased review. E Cig Shop https://www.electronic-cigarette.ie/
The Surface Pro 4 is the ideal device for those who need to work in mobility and need to be productive in every place. Microsoft has designed it to combine the power of a PC and the versatility of a tablet into a single device, and we who use it to write articles and to edit documents, photos and videos can say that the goal has been centered. Sometimes, however, as a result of the latest Windows 10 updates (as we write in August 2017), it presents some locks, impending or malfunctioning, probably due to non-optimized drivers as it should, but the ongoing firmware updates released by Microsoft make us believe That sooner or later these problems will be resolved. At least, so hopefully!
The device is fascinating and functional in the form-factor as much as its predecessor, Surface Pro 3, but thanks to the Intel 6-generation Intel Skylake processor and the huge amount of RAM (up to 16 GB) A computing power and performance at the top with any Windows Store app or Win32 software that is started and used.
The 12.3-inch PixelTouch display with 2736 x 1824 (267 PPI) resolution is one of its strengths. It offers a very high contrast, realistic colors, minimal reflections and a great viewing angle for a satisfying use experience in any place or light condition. Moreover, thanks to the support for the use of the Surface Pen with magnetic coupling (included), it can be used as a digital tablet for drawing or for taking free hand notes with extreme simplicity, more or less as you do with paper and pen .
The Keyboard-Cover, to be purchased separately, is the accessory that transforms the Surface Pro 4 into a laptop PC. In addition to protecting the screen, it also acts as a QWERTY keyboard providing a high level of experience with its island keys and the large glass surface trackpad (text writing with this keyboard is really comfortable and Typing errors are minimal). Using it in a tilted position, ie by raising it with the magnetic engagement with the bottom frame of the display, it buzzes a little while typing, but nothing transcendent.
Also good is the photo compartment consisting of an 8 megapixel backlit sensor with auto focus and 1080p video recording, and a 5 megapixel front sensor with Windows Hello support for unlocking the system through Face Detection.
The battery, according to Microsoft, should provide 9 hours of video playback but our experience tells us that the duration of a more or less intensive work session is about 5-6 hours.
Has driven the plate for a week now as the only working tool and I think that is fantastic! Have not really got started with pen yet but it is still quite grim on the aircraft and on the sofa with only the touch screen and on-screen keyboard. With the keyboard connected you get a real laptop, battery life and function keys are inverted are the only reasons why it does not get full marks! The screen is completely cruel and speaker and microphone equally so and it works with both mobile headphones and ordinary headphones!
Expensive as only the course so you can virtually buy less disk and instead poking a fat microSD card!
Poor quality and management from Microsoft.
I think I've never had such a shifty laptop. Power management is simply too poor. I've had it known issue "sleep of death" where it woke up about 50% of the time. This has been resolved, probably in a SW-update (but without that Microsoft has acknowledged that!). I still have some small problems with Power mgmt, for example. if a charger when it is in sleep (when it is very hot and the fan makes noise).
Now, besides the charger stopped charging, depending on how one turns and twists of the wires. Such can happen, but it is submitted to the online store's service partner as "waiting for a response from Microsoft" now more than two weeks!
It's great when it works, but for such an expensive laptop will quality and service from the provider to be very good. It is not.
As a student, I have become completely dependent on this single device! It lets me do everything from programming, manage office files that record with pen in OneNote. It is more of a computer than a tablet and although like everything has its drawbacks, I could not be happier!
+ Screen! Genuine color that makes your eyes relax.
+ Fast, starts immediately and log in with your face!
+ Flexible, good writing on the laptop mode and works great to watch movies on long bus trips. The flexibility with windows in general, as well as USB and Video output (DisplayPort)
+ Build quality, weighs easily in your bag, feels very sturdy!
- There is not much space for the battery in such a thin tablet, but I take the absolute through a school day on a charge, as long as I use the battery saving mode! The charger itself pardon also there in a good way because it is very pretty and has the option tt charge the cell phone too!
- May seem to have little functional imperfections. For example, the brightness can falter at low levels, the pen can react wrongly when loading times and pen shortcut button at the top does not work stable at the power saving mode.
Overall, it is the best computer I tried!
The format is great to use and fun to master.
