The first thing that should be said is that if the only thing you care about sound quality, buy a 2.1 system instead. I did not want a big box under the desk so for the price and format, these speakers are good. You'll have to pay up to twice to get a pair of 2.0 speakers to approach the sound quality of a 2.1 system. Listen to the music I make on my stereo system, those earning more as substitutes for when I can not be bothered to have headphones in the computer, so for things like youtube and games they fill their function well.

A sound system for you to prioritize sound quality in front of loudness. You get quite clearly better sound than the corresponding 2.1 sound system from Logitech and the like, but at the expense of Logitech sytemet likely to create more (un) sound if it has a separate base. Is the sound quality preferable so buy them, you want to play loud "thump thump" and have low demands on sound quality so buy a 2.1 system for the same price. It's nice not having subwoofer. Playing on the surprisingly good even though they obviously do not correspond to a 2.1 setup with a separate subwoofer 8 "or similar ...

Really good speakers for such little money. Have had mine for nearly 2 years and is still as good quality :)

Do not be fooled by the reviews here or design. You go from a 2.1 system to these speakers, you will regret it bitterly. The base is so burkig, as hitting with a ladle into a large empty plastic barrel. Positively: + They look great and väbyggda out + Sounds ok on very low volume negative: - Pathetic base, you get better sound by turning a large saucepan. - No midrange completely. - Raises the volume a bit so the sound seems to collapse completely, only capable of delivering high tones clean. Bass and midrange becomes a grieve. - Ill stand-by function. You start to play a song and it takes 5sec before the speakers come to life. Conclusion: Great looking speakers that look good but have just as good sound quality as a laptop. Add one hundred and purchase a 2.1 system.

Has now had speakers in a number of months. For me that is not an audio expert judgment is very good for its price!
