Powerful, low power consumption (max 170-180W). With the Radeon Settings application you can change clock speeds, fan speeds and many other settings, and for just over 200 €, there is nothing better.
It generates a power of about 6 TeraFLOPs, which if used with apps such as Folding @ Home and BOINC can give a huge boost to scientific research, especially for searching tumor care by analyzing search data.
Perhaps the only shame is that it warms up a bit, but just have a good case to keep it from rising.
Hi, I would not like to tediate you to: the number of millions of transistors, the birth of the graphics processor and its (evolution), speed of memories, blah, blah, blah, but tell you a few things of fundamental importance to understand that 'wafer' let's talk and NOT be bothered by ... 'cheap graphics marvels that so many customers do not understand a fava', ie that this card produces (yes yes) the same performance (but very little else) of a card from € 400 (which I have purchased and still owned since 2013!) 'Radeon R290' with (looks at random), the same 4 Gb of gddr5 and Sapphire itself, still working dignified, but also consuming more power ( 200 watts more!), (Who would not believe it, look at the performance chart (games) at http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/1749?vs=1772) .. Now I ask you: is it worth spending 220 euros on a card that provides performance from a card of FOUR years ago? In my opinion it is crazy and incompetent. It's best to spend a couple of extra and you buy a flamboyant and small ZOTAC GEFORCE GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5 with 2GB more, more power to sell, etc, etc. the undersigned would propose for 1060 'for a few extra euros. Inglourious eye ...
A very nice card. Runs a lot of games 1080p 60fps+. Temps aren't too bad either, but it is definitely worth setting your own fan curve either in Wattman or MSI Afterburner. I also undervolted mine from 1118 mV to 1020 mV @1305 MHz which improved temps a lot.
It does what it should. Perhaps cooler is a little too high at high rpm but with good set curve the sound is no longer a problem. Stable in fps and it goes to OC a bit with. I am satisfied.
