Powerful graphics card that works very well for displays with 2540x1440 resolution.
Plays mostly Overwatch with 160+ FPS and has not had any problems with the graphics card. If that's something I want to draw, it's the noise level from the cooler compared to the MSI Gaming X cooler that I used earlier, this cooler makes a little more noise than its MSI, especially when overclocked.
Nothing to complain about.
Inge noise, it chugs along smoothly.
Have had my 5 months now, is thrilled except that I can not use it to its full potential. Sitting and playing at 1080p with a i5-6600k oc 4.4GHz but it hangs not really. will probably be the next upgrade it.
Now to the card. My copy was hit out of the heat problem, I had 70grader low of 82 degrees at most when I sat on the play (and then I had a Fractal Design Define's original fans). Contacted inet them and took the card. But they found no fault with it at their open test system when it reached about 65 degrees.
Martinet was awsome and offered shipping and testing, while the card was inside so I bought 3st Noctua 140mm fans front, 2x Noctua 120mm rear of the push / pull on my 120mm range. This made so that the card anyway only reached 75 degrees maximum, and then I thought no more of it, the bow a few days ago.
Then I thought, nah now bastards Before painting the base huh enough and so I screwed up shit and noticing that it is very much thermal grease (1mm thick) in various consistencies, some were hard and elsewhere were gooey?
Cleaned and took away everything superfluous, put away the Artic Silver 5 so it was around the core and is now the GPU at 65 degrees maximum in BF1 on ultra of everything.
+ Good card itself
+ Stylish design
+ Overclocks nicely, 2012mhz on the GPU Boost, I have seen that max.
-must have been a Monday example or similar.
Absolutely fantastic card. Fair warning, I have only had this card for a few weeks so I have not tested this as much as I should have.
- No coil whine but then maybe I got lucky.
Runs witcher 3 on max settings (all NVIDIA hairworks settings on max) with little to no frame stutter.
-Runs at <60 degrees Celsius and runs idly at 25-35 degrees Celsius. The card has never exceeded 60 degrees Celsius and as such the fans have never been obtrusive.
-The RGB lights are an awesome touch.
-Backplate adds a lot of stability and slight cooling features.
-Maintenance and feature software are poorly executed
-Um, that's it.
I cannot recommend this card enough. It appears that the people who get the coil whine have received a rare defective card. As it says on their page, ASUS have replaced their entire assembly line with robots so there is very little cause for concern in terms of defects, but of course these can still happen, so take it with a grain of salt.
Very powerful video card.
No problem with the show as flight simulator resolution in the highest fps and with maximized detail
Relatively large short
