Liked it so compact, lightweight and very fast and easy to manage. Can handle only cameras ski less up to about 500 grams. To my little Canon Legria HF200 camcorder fits perfectly. To my EOS 450D with battery grip and lens tynge than the absolute lightest it immediately becomes a problem if the wind blows a little. Then it will be too weak, but for the purpose of facilitating the cameras, it is clearly very smoothly.
Perfectly okay quality considering the price, the legs feel sturdy, and it gets about 43 cm collapsed. It keeps an EOS 550D with the standard lens in place, but it has a larger lens and external flash, it can probably be a little unstable if it blows.
Minus the small bubble level that does not seem 100% calibrated on my copy, and the ball joint is not top quality.
Plus, because it's portable, low price, and even if the ball joint feels a little plasticky, the function is to lock the camera to pan a good feature.
Super quality in everything except the ball joint. The trail is plasticky and video lock is slightly glappig causing the horizon may become misaligned or wiggle during pans. So is there anyway on my copy. Not really Manfrotto quality.
Big plus for portability, light weight, simplicity and flexibility.
Lacking that there goa weight. But otherwise a really affordable tripod. Remains to be seen how it holds over time of course, but it's a Manfrotto ... Very satisfied!
