Totally okay for someone with an extremely low budget. But would rekommerndera to buy Nikon 70-300 / 4.5-5.6 G VR instead, more zoom, better focus and it works on FX too.

Provides sharp images in okay to good lighting conditions. Zooms good without being clumsy and big.

This is an inexpensive and very affordable lens for those who itne want to put out several thousands of dollars but at the same time do not want to get bad quality. VR (Vibrance Reduction) does its job well. As the amateur I am, I must say that I got very more than expected for the money. Pictures are simply cannon. Have an 18-55 kit lens, buy this and you will not regret it.

Easy and economical lens. Not the brightest, but for 2000 bucks you get a lot for your money. VR works very well, and the lens provides sharp images with little distortion.
