Very affordable option. Weighed between Tamron 70-300mm and this but this was ultimately due to lower weight and price, and I do not run with a full frame camera. The image quality is nothing to complain about, especially given the price, and image stabilization is very good. You can take photos handheld at 250mm with anyway 1/50 with good sharpness.

Have not had the lens while yet. But taking a few pictures and compared to my Tamron 18-270, and oh what a difference. Canon lens is much better, no doubt. Feels spontaneously quite similar in sharpness with my now sold Sigma 70-200 f / 2,8. Highly recommended, you want to have better quality it will be enough to buy Canon L lenses, but also to upgrade to full-frame is probably not much difference. The only negative is of course light sensitivity, but it is as good as any other cheap zooms so considering the price it's hardly worth noting.
