Good camera and many settings that usually are easy to reach. However, the things that bother me at: Lousy video quality. Looks like shooting with a DV camera Lousy app with stupid limitations. You can not send over raw files directly to your phone and JPG are also not in the original format. Slow wifi without scope. Supports only a, b and g. Can not load during use. No microUSB without their own special touch that also do not charge the camera. Illogical limitation of the time lapse of 999 images. Got to buy an external trigger to get around this.

Super satisfied! Has previously used normal SLR, but it was never that I could lug it with me = no images. Packed with features and settings, which are extra good if you like to Norda down, are of course Auto Mode for beginners, too. Works great with old optics if you buy an adapter (type 100kr on eBay), easy to find focus with the help of peaking. The size and the price was dealbreakern for me. Was eager to buy the mirror-full-frame, but it would be more than twice as expensive. And then I still would not take it anywhere. Now you do not need to be super scared of the camera resulting in more spontaneous pictures. It's fun using this camera and it makes a perfect first camera. The app has great functionality, but it would need some love graphically and UX-wise. I recommend the Olympus 45mm 1.8. Ideal for portrait!

A quick and easy camera that is easy to carry. Which is also its disadvantage. The grip is not quite comfortable but it will be if you buy the Olympus camera grip. The price tag for the grip is a little on the high side, and could be said to be typical Olympus when they are not in the purchase of their lens sends to either the hood or simpler lens pouches but sell them separately to any unwarranted prices. I have had the camera in just over a year and can be after this year say that I am satisfied. Has taken a lot of great photos, and am constantly impressed by what is possible to get from the smaller 4/3 sensor. However, I must recommend to obtain proper lens if you want to get real pleasure from the camera. Buy the camera with the compact kitobjektivet without betting instead on some of the absolutely fabulous, bright lenses available to the M43 system. Good: + Size. It's really smooth. + Wifi. Olympus has both iOS and Android functioning app that is easy to get started with. + Speed. With a better memory and bright lenses (eg Panasonic 25 / 1.4) are you running and can shoot with a focus in principle as soon as the camera has started. Both continuous shooting and autofocus is really fast. + Dynamic range. The sensor saves a large amount of information in any RAW converter makes dark images useful. + Prize. Very affordable! + The amount of buttons and controls. Most can be adjusted via the controls on the camera body, making it relatively quick and easy to use once you have learned where all the controls are located. + Monitor. Tiltable and touch. Very useful to quickly focus. + Seeker. Detailed and good to be electronic. Not so good: - The size. With a little larger hands or major objective is the grip that is sold as an accessory almost obligatory. - Noise. Not horrible, but one can always wish for better performance at high ISO. 3200 is, in my opinion, the highest useful. However, it is something you have to live with the smaller 4/3 sensor. - Not weatherproof. I am very happy after one year use and can heartily recommend the camera for those looking for an affordable camera with plenty of controls in retro design. I have on several occasions been asked if I would get myself a digital camera instead of a film camera, which is an advantage when you are traveling. I imagine that it makes it somewhat less attractive to thieves.

A very good camera. very smooth when agreed with Olympus something strange button set. I have 14-42 lens, and this kit is a very good and smooth combination. Can really recommend this camera for those tired of lugging around their dSLR. Complete with extra grip it lies perfectly in the hand, we all kind of photography.

Bought this and solde all dSLR stuff! Very nøyd! As they write on dpreview, OM-1 image quality in less research, at half the price! If you (like me) do not you want weatherproof camera you this cannon! (I'm sitting inside when it rains =) have a 12-40 f2.8 linse on, and you should buy extra grip-in to it to fit together. great quality and cool features like live bulb, and other goodies!
