Affordable SLR DX format. Should you upgrade you have to go up to the FX. Clearly better than my old D200. Easy to use for both beginners and more advanced photographers.

We have had this camera for a year and a half, and during this time taken between 20 and 25,000 images. Aside from the camera's clumsiness and its six cash-live view (something that rarely seems to work well on SLR cameras), we are really happy with almost everything. Very easy jobbad despite all the functions. Complex yet intuitive. If you already are accustomed with SLR - analogue and digital - so this camera offers all the facilities you could wish for.
