I had never made the acquaintance of Monitor Audio's range. I must say that at first I was amazed at how clear midrange and treble from the horn-like element. However, I have previously had speakers with buriliumelement so the difference for me is not huge. I listened to many speakers, number two on the list was Dyn Audio (in the same class) but I liked the luster of these speakers so the deal huh steak. I have listened to everything from Lisa Ekdalsvägen (highly dynamic music) to Metallica, Linkin Park and Green Day and then in the next position to act as the main speakers in my surround sound system when watching a movie. I am overwhelmed with how great the sound is from these decent small speakers. The bass is deep, crisp and full-bodied without being too obvious or uncomfortable. I am super happy! The speakers are driven by an Onkyo TX-NR609B.
