WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! If you are looking to buy a Sansa Clip Sport 4GB or 8GB, read on about the player's limitations and problems, for example by visiting SanDisk Forums, before putting money on this product. It unfortunately did not. I assumed foolhardy enough that the new model should be better than the older, at least to the same things as the Sansa Clip + or Sansa Clip Zip done in several years. Unfortunately, this assumption is completely wrong then Clip Sport is not an upgrade but a downgrade in functionality and hardware. This is not mentioned anywhere on their product page. In audiobook mode files are played in totally the wrong order, even if they are tagged correctly by all the rules of art. In the Folders pane, under audiobooks, however, the files are listed correctly, if you upgraded to the latest firmware (1.17 as of this writing - does not work then go back to previous versions when they are available). The number of characters displayed in a title or file name is max 12 which does not look so fun out if it, for example, have books with long titles. This manages Clip + Gallant. One is frequently and repeatedly forced to once again set the language and country, when you had it connected to your computer and disconnect it and sometimes when you start it. That should do it right away, when it is first used. The total number of files on internal or external memory has been reduced from 4000 to 2000 after the latest software upgrade. Then support the large external microSDHC cards easily handle much more. The causes of this and much more can be found on their forum. I am the owner of two Clip + and my partner has one. We are both very happy with these players. However, they have been around for a while and we wanted to "upgrade" to the newer stuff. Now, we greatly regret that we did not read the bit before. Buy a Clip + or Clip Zip instead!
