Had a short time a HT-XT1 that I really liked. Noted quite soon that I wanted XT3 especially for 4K support.
Everything I have written for XT1 apply to XT3, in addition to the following improvements;
4K support! :-)
Wired LAN and 5GHz Wifi
Google Cast & Spotify
Properly much fatter sound
The right size, can hold a proper TV on top
Much better remote control
One thing has deteriorated, in my opinion, but I do not think anyone else agrees. Net on the front is of fabric instead of metal. I do not like it, but probably does everyone else there, especially since you can remove it completely and see the speaker elements.
Well, I draw a star anyway. Otherwise it's a great sound system for us with less space.
Good traits in the sound, but surprisingly good bass. However Bug healthy if you use Spotify Connect, then you can not switch inputs via the remote control without the need to turn off the loudspeaker, tap and then (after a long wait) switch inputs via the buttons on the speaker itself.
+ Extremely good sound quality

+ USB port (external disk / memory stick can be connected)
