Just ok for the money. Now I have compared it with a Chord Mojo, and soon realized what is missing. For example. press firmly with the base and non-intrusive treble. But without comparison, so let the good :) Tested Hifiman 400i.

Has used this portable DAC / amp for about 5 months and very pleasantly surprised. E5 has all the connectivity options that I need and provides a sound quality that is very much better, even for "low-quality" sound, like Spotify or Google Play music, regardless of the portable audio source I use. Unfortunately, E5 an annoying voice prompt when connecting additional audio sources - wish it was possible to turn this. Have not used the really good kids, but even with cheap trick it will be a great boost in the sound. (Have mostly used Aiaiai TMA-1 Studio and Audio Technica m50x) Positively: - The price, much sound for little money - The connectivity (USB, Bluetooth, line-in, Toslink) - Built-in microphone - Good battery life - Dual headphone outputs Negative: - Something bulky / heavy when you put it together with their phone - Requires the app to control - desirable screen on the E5: an Recommended to anyone who wants to get more out of their portable audio.
