Outstanding for the price! Tested on Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (Android) and Microsoft 950 XL (Win 10 mobile) with USB OTG. Works directly "out of box" and what a difference! Driving with Audio-Technica ATH-M50 headphones but also tested on the fun with hi-fi equipment in the millions (Audio Concept on Kungsholmen)! Paints large soundstage with lovely details of voices and instruments (without "brassy" sound). The biggest difference will there be between Samsung / Microsoft appeal lies headphone output and Dragonfly DAC but the DAC did not get lost in comparison with CD / Audio combo of 1 million class! Have described some problems on various forums with low volume and "noise" on some phones, but not something I noticed. Did not even have to install the USB app without running "native" instantly, especially impressive to Win 10 mobile (950 XL) supports 24 bit 96 kHz (magenta color DAC) directly after connecting with OTG / USB-C cable! Even compared Tidal vs Spotify on both the Note 4 and 950 XL and Black Dragonfly makes the difference is even greater between tidals HIFI subscriptions and Spotify 320kbps bitrate of headphones. Buy! PS! That Black has a power consumption that is a fraction compared to its predecessor (Dragonfly 1.2) is even more icing on the cake when you almost can run all day without having to interrupt playing for charging (USB port on the handset's unlocked by OTG cable). PS2! Further candy was to connect the DAC to the 950 XL's Continuum box so you can get to a "stationary" finstereon connection at home with "almost" PC connection to the TV screen. I'm in tech heaven :)
