Since no one has written anything and I took a chance on this instead of the BDT-500 and I'll try to give some info!
If you read around on the net and testing, you realize that it received good reviews and they are indeed well deserved. Have so far only tested a few bluray movies but have to say it is really good produce significantly less type stutter (micro lag) in the image than my previous LG. Just saw Avatar 3D and the picture was perfect!
2 I use a lot of streaming from NAS network drive then so hence they were a requirement now that I got a new to this also could take many different formats subtitles etc! So far they have worked well as it has pretty good system to go through the folders in Nas and so they go to pause and rewind the movies which they did in Sony's S-5200th
I would say buy this by those I've experienced up until today! If I see any shortage later as I update but right now it's a good choice with the right price, great picture, good networking. Two negative things, however, - the menu system is ugly for real and so is the build quality with the right discarded plastic but looks better on hold in tvbänken but if you take the course, you start to think! : P
Hope someone got a little more meat on the bones of these anyway!
Update: Does not seem like the player takes the SRT files at NAS use ... A bit tired of so poor network play!
Bought this for about 1 week and it has tested a dozen films and am very satisfied. it's my first BR player so I went on the test online. It has become a reference player in several International "testers" as the best player around 2000 SEK.
Using it only as BR player when I I have a Boxee media files. But I'm very pleased, and it performs just as I think.
It does not weigh much and is small roll size.
