From a quality perspective, it's a great machine, but there are a couple of things missing for it to get the full grade:
One is that it lacks apps for all major streaming services, such as Youtube, Netflix and SVT Play.
The second is that it does not remember was in the movie, they shut off if you put in another disc in between. The function was both my old Blu-ray Samsung BD-J7500, and even on my even older Pioneer DVD players.
If these things are not important to you, well, then there's nothing to think about. Buy!
This is an amazing machine. As others have had named the quality is high regarding both the player and the remote control. The remote is backlit and comes on when you lift it up, which is something I just love. However, it is very sensitive, so it is enough that you set something on the table that lights up if you are not careful. The buttons on the remote control is very comfortable and precise, and there are bumps on some buttons that allow you always know where you have fingers. The remote is large and powerful but is extremely good in the hand and gives you instant control over all you do. Changing the audio or subtitles do with the push of a button. The player reacts very quickly on the remote control and give feedback immediately. One feature that I think is very good is the Pure Audio button to turn off the picture card completely. Perfect for me who lives in a small apartment with bad air, and the need to open the window sometimes. When I press Pure Audio button, open the window and go to the home evening and fill the candy store. It gets quite dark in the apartment and no animal finds its way in.
The sound is amazingly powerful, the first film I was playing up so I sat like a child on Christmas Eve. The spread of the sound is like day and night compared to Netflix, and where do I even Atmos. Now I have turned Atmos and it sounds improbably good. The bats in Batman v Superman flying around you in such a way that you think you are there. The picture quality is great! I have a Samsung UE55KS9005 (does not get better than that), and an Onkyo TX-RZ800 (with pass-through) and 4K looks fantastic. Frequently, however, 1080p looks almost as good, actually difficult to see the difference. May be that Oppon are so good at scaling up (the difference seen significantly more through Netflix).
DLNA function is good, but leaves a little to be desired. Play a CD that works gapless playback, it does not through the network. Very sad, but may be fixed eventually.
