    Receivers that beats most!

Good - but not perfect. So you can summarize it all, and for this price I think it should have been a little longer simply. Good is the admirably simple setting of ARC (Anthem Room Correction), and that MRX710 "only" works without major installation chores. I took it step by step in the right tempo and it was excellent. ARC is also good in the standard version, but even better if you turn a little on the small number of parameters offered. Fast HDMI switching (I think), stable, and no bugs. That said, it would surely be nice if HDMI had Auto Lip Sync (how to help implement the wheat cat, there is support in the hardware - just the software ...), ability to use Zone 2 to sub basses (which welcome to include that one also can control MasterZon final stages via external crossover), and the ARC not only fixes +/- 6dB. It should at least cope with humps in the acoustics of the room by allowing -18dB say - now it is too narrow, which can cause problems unnecessarily. This can be done better, and it's software. Unfortunately Anthems support is not something to hang on the Christmas tree - I still have not received a reply after two weeks on a number of issues that I had. A few things I've figured out myself, but the other is not answered. Nice to have iofs had been to the amplifier also had DLNA (audio + picture) and streaming - it has all the manufacturers these days - but not Anthem. Anthem has thus here a no-nonsense product that works and is stable, provides good music reproduction and wonderful movie reproduction. There are some things to file in, no direct super urgent, but above all it must support wake. PS! Probably an MRX 310 (identical processor / preamp with MRX 510/710) plus separate amplifier even better than the MRX 710 and you need 7 channels, check MRX 510 - MRX 710 is not worth the extra cost. DS! Update: I have been forced to switch from MRX710 to Marantz SR7008 because some system failure in MRXen that does not make the plays 100% with my speaker system. Basically is my assessment above left, but with a note that it does not always work 100% as they want and I took the hit (financially) and cure to something that works more flawlessly - though the representation may not be exactly as good . You win some and lose some simply, and sometimes you have to choose one even though you dreamed of the others .....

Unbelievable good biomaskin 10 points easily, but the music, I had a little more hope as there will be only 8.5 p in the ratings. Sounds just as good if not better in the cinema than Marantz Av 8801 and MM 8077th
