Can nothing about amps but I give it my Dali speakers sound amazing good. (Or they would have done it regardless amp?)
It became a real difference when I replaced my old Denon DM30 kompaktförstärkade with this NAD. The former porridgy the sound is much clearer now. The excessive bass disappeared too, so I will need to connect a subwoofer to enjoy action movies.
The downside I can see with the NAD 316 is that it is relatively primitive, basically it is a (heavy) box with some inputs and a pair of outputs to the speakers. No digital input, no bluetooth, no "pre-out" for connection to the subwoofer. What it does seem to make it good though. I bought it used in 1600 and is happy.
Had C315 BEE as my first amp (model before), very good for the money.
Good power in this little rascal. Run my B & W DM686or with this. Really good pressure. The volume control moves when you raise and lower with the remote which is a bit cool for such a low budget version.
